A Chic Transformation

The brief: Our goal here was to uplift the apartment’s existing dark and dated palette and transform it into a chic and modern home.

Approach: We introduced neutral fabric choices with intricate details and other strategic light finishes to lift and transform the space. In addition, the detailed use of mirrors and wood in light tones when installing bespoke cabinetry added a touch of elegance to the interior space. With all of these elements combined, the space embodies a refined character.

Utilizing a neutral palette with blue and yellow accents and the use of interesting fabrics add texture to the stunning living room and dining area. The living room area with multiple seating arrangements maximizes the space, creating different areas for residents to enjoy the view. A feature wall with an integrated TV console bookshelf and accent lighting provides an effective storage space while showcasing treasured decor pieces.

Creating intricate details with patterned fabrics and introducing subtle pops of colour tie the design scheme together throughout the different areas of this multi-functional living space. We used statement lighting and artwork to create a well-defined focal point for the interior design of the dining area and repurposed a sideboard to match the rest of the interior design scheme. As the only piece retained from our client’s existing furniture, it seamlessly blends in with the new design, blending sentimentality with a contemporary design aesthetic.
